About Spring Into Safety Events

Spring Into Safety training events are a free opportunity to refresh your knowledge of safe digging best practices. The events also provide a chance to network with other professionals and meet representatives from local member facility operators. The events qualify for 1-hour Certified Excavator Program renewal, and have been approved for several CEUs.

How to Register

Visit the Spring Into Safety page and scroll down to the events list.
Select the event you want. You can browse events as a list or month view, or use the "County" dropdown to look at just events close to you.
Register for the event you selected and join us in-person on the day of the event.

2026 Spring Into Safety events have been approved for the following CEUs:

Water Operator (1)
Wastewater Operator (1)
Professional Engineering, Land Surveying & Geology (NYSED - 1)
New York State Building Officials Conference (1 elective)

Please note that only professionals with existing credentials in these fields will be eligible to receive credit.
